Begin your journey as a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Blue for the Nintendo Game Boy. Starting in Pallet Town, you travel across the Kanto region with the goal of catching Pokémon, building a powerful team and eventually reaching the Pokémon League. Along the way, you face rival Trainers, Gym Leaders and the notorious Team Rocket.
Gameplay focuses on catching, training and evolving Pokémon and using them in turn-based battles. Every Pokémon has its own types and moves, making the creation of a balanced team an important part of your adventure. Collect eight Gym Badges, complete your Pokédex and trade Pokémon with other players to obtain species unavailable in your version.
Together with Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue helped introduce the first generation of Pokémon to players around the world. The game introduced audiences outside Japan to the original 151 Pokémon and established many of the elements that would become defining features of the series. This EUR cartridge is a recognisable Game Boy release and an interesting addition for Pokémon fans, retro gamers and Nintendo collectors.
