Rock n' Roll Racing - FAH - Super Nintendo
Race across futuristic circuits in Rock n' Roll Racing for the Super Nintendo. The game was developed by Silicon & Synapse, the studio that would later become Blizzard Entertainment, and was released in Europe in 1994.
Races are shown from an isometric perspective and combine speed with vehicular combat. Use weapons such as missiles and mines together with boosters to slow down or temporarily destroy your opponents. Prize money earned from racing can be spent on improved engines, armour and weaponry.
One of the game’s most distinctive features is its soundtrack, featuring 16-bit arrangements of well-known rock tracks including Paranoid, Born to Be Wild, Highway Star, Bad to the Bone and Peter Gunn. Race announcer Larry “Supermouth” Huffman adds energetic commentary throughout the action.
