Take command of an international counter-terrorism unit in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for the original PlayStation. As part of the secret Rainbow team, you are deployed on dangerous operations involving terrorists, hostage situations and other threats that require a careful approach.
Prepare each operation by selecting your team members, equipment and routes before the mission actually begins. During the action, success is not simply about shooting quickly, but about moving carefully, working together and striking at the right moment. A single wrong decision can have serious consequences, making planning and precision an important part of every mission.
Rainbow Six stands apart from traditional shooters through its strong emphasis on tactics and mission planning. Based on the work of Tom Clancy, the game marked the beginning of the long-running Rainbow Six series of tactical games. This PAL edition is an interesting addition for fans of strategic shooters, Tom Clancy games and PlayStation collectors.
