Take on a covert mission in Snake’s Revenge for the Nintendo NES, an action-adventure game with espionage elements set within the world of Metal Gear. You play as Solid Snake, who is sent together with his team to stop a new threat involving advanced Metal Gear weapon technology.
The gameplay combines top-down stealth and action with side-scrolling sections, gunfights and tactical exploration. Players must avoid or defeat enemies, infiltrate buildings and make use of different weapons and equipment to progress.
Snake’s Revenge was developed specifically for Western markets and differs in several ways from other early Metal Gear titles. Its mixture of infiltration, action and military science fiction gives it a distinctive identity within the NES library.
