Take control of a heavily armed combat helicopter in Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf for the SEGA Mega Drive. Set during a fictional conflict in the Middle East, the game sends you on a series of military operations where enemy forces must be eliminated and important objectives completed.
Fly across large areas from an isometric perspective and complete missions involving the destruction of installations, enemy vehicles and the rescue of hostages. You have several weapons at your disposal, but ammunition, fuel and armor are limited. Collecting supplies and carefully planning your route are therefore just as important as accurate shooting.
Desert Strike combines helicopter action with tactical decision-making and relatively open mission areas. You have considerable freedom in how you approach your objectives, while careful resource management is essential for returning safely. This PAL edition is an interesting addition for fans of classic tactical action games and SEGA Mega Drive collectors.
