Enter the strange dreams of Bart Simpson in The Simpsons: Bart’s Nightmare for the Super Nintendo. After Bart falls asleep while working on his homework, the pages of his assignment blow out of the window. Inside his dream, he must explore the streets of Springfield and recover the missing pages before waking up.
Each recovered page sends Bart into a different dream world with its own gameplay style, enemies and challenges. Along the way, he transforms into characters such as Bartzilla and Bartman and enters bizarre scenarios filled with recognizable references to The Simpsons. Platforming, minigames and several different types of gameplay constantly alternate throughout the adventure.
Bart’s Nightmare stands out for its unusual humour, colourful presentation and variety of gameplay styles within a single adventure. Familiar characters and elements from Springfield connect the game closely to the animated series. This FAH edition is a fun addition for fans of The Simpsons, enthusiasts of unusual 16-bit games and Super Nintendo collectors.
