Tony Hawk: Shred - PlayStation 3
Step onto the board yourself with Tony Hawk: Shred for the PlayStation 3. Instead of traditional controller-based gameplay, the game uses a special skateboard-shaped motion controller. By moving, turning and shifting your weight, you control the action on screen and perform a variety of tricks.
Gameplay combines skateboarding, snowboarding and motion controls. Ride through different courses, perform jumps and attempt tricks and combinations by recreating movements on the board. In addition to skateboarding sections, Shred also features snowboarding levels, allowing the motion-based controls to be used across different environments.
The game features well-known professional skateboarders, including Tony Hawk, and was designed as an active and accessible entry in the famous skateboarding series. Tony Hawk: Shred therefore stands out within the franchise by placing physical movement at the centre of the experience. The special skateboard controller is required to play, so it is important to check whether it is included with the product.
