MotorStorm: Pacific Rift - PlayStation 3
Leave Monument Valley behind and race across a dangerous tropical island in MotorStorm: Pacific Rift for the PlayStation 3. The MotorStorm Festival has moved to a new environment filled with dense jungles, beaches, mountains, rivers and volcanic areas. These varied landscapes create spectacular races where choosing the right route is an important part of the challenge.
Gameplay combines aggressive off-road racing, different vehicle classes, boost and multiple routes. Choose from bikes, ATVs, buggies, rally cars, racing trucks, Big Rigs and other vehicles, including the new Monster Trucks. Lighter vehicles can take advantage of narrow and fast routes, while heavier machines are better suited to powering through rough terrain and other competitors.
The island is divided into different environments where water, mud, vegetation and volcanic heat can influence each race. Water can help cool an overheating engine, while fire and lava create additional hazards. With fast races, huge jumps, heavy collisions and local split-screen multiplayer, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift expands on the spectacular off-road formula of the original MotorStorm.
