Join the good-hearted purple cat Eek on a chaotic adventure in Eek! The Cat for the Super Nintendo. Based on the animated television series, the game follows Eek’s famous belief that it never hurts to help, even though his helpful nature constantly puts him in bizarre and dangerous situations.
Travel through colorful stages filled with obstacles, enemies, traps and characters that need Eek’s assistance. Rather than simply reaching the end of each stage, you often need to guide other characters safely through dangerous environments. Eek can jump, climb and interact with different parts of his surroundings while trying to avoid taking too much damage himself.
Eek! The Cat puts its own spin on traditional platforming by combining humor, escort-style gameplay and puzzle-like challenges. Its unusual characters and exaggerated animation capture the style of the original cartoon series. This UKV edition is an interesting addition for fans of distinctive 16-bit platformers, cartoon nostalgia and Super Nintendo collectors.
