Lord of the Rings: War in the North - Playstation 3
Return to Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings: War in the North for the PlayStation 3. While the familiar Fellowship carries out its own mission, three other heroes embark on a dangerous journey through the north to stop the growing armies of Agandaûr and prevent Sauron’s influence from spreading further.
Gameplay combines action RPG combat, character development, equipment and cooperation. Choose between the human ranger Eradan, the dwarf Farin or the elf Andriel, each with unique abilities and a different style of play. Defeat orcs, trolls and other enemies, collect new weapons and equipment, and develop your character with new abilities as the adventure progresses.
Cooperation plays an important role throughout the game. The three heroes support each other during large battles, and the adventure can be experienced with computer-controlled companions or alongside other players. Familiar locations and characters from the universe are combined with an original story showing another side of the war for Middle-earth. War in the North delivers a robust, action-focused RPG experience for fans of The Lord of the Rings on PlayStation 3.
