The Last of Us - PlayStation 3

The Last of Us - PlayStation 3

Travel across a devastated America in The Last of Us for the PlayStation 3. Years after a dangerous Cordyceps infection caused society to collapse, smuggler Joel is given the task of escorting a young girl named Ellie out of a heavily guarded quarantine zone. What begins as an assignment develops into a long and dangerous journey in which the two increasingly depend on each other.

Gameplay combines third-person action, stealth, exploration and survival elements. Ammunition and other resources are limited, regularly forcing you to choose between direct confrontation and quietly avoiding or eliminating enemies. Along the way, you collect materials that can be used to craft or improve useful items and weapons.

Joel and Ellie travel through abandoned cities, buildings and natural environments while facing different types of infected creatures and hostile human survivors. The focus is not only on combat but also strongly on the story and the developing relationship between the two main characters. The Last of Us combines survival, action and a character-driven story in one of the best-known adventures on PlayStation 3.
