Medal of Honor Rising Sun - PlayStation 2
Head to the Pacific theatre of World War II in Medal of Honor: Rising Sun for the PlayStation 2. You play as American Marine Joseph Griffin, whose story begins during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. His mission then takes him further across Asia and the Pacific as he also searches for his missing brother, Donnie.
Gameplay combines first-person shooting, military missions and historical wartime locations. Use a variety of period weapons as you attack enemy positions, move through jungles and military installations and complete different objectives. Missions alternate between large firefights and moments where you fight alongside other Allied soldiers.
Throughout the campaign, you visit several locations inspired by the Pacific theatre, from Pearl Harbor to the jungles of Guadalcanal and missions in Southeast Asia. Alongside the single-player campaign, the game also features multiplayer options for battles with other players. Rising Sun takes the familiar Medal of Honor action to the Pacific front, offering a different setting within the series.
