Spyro Reignited Trilogy - PlayStation 4

Spyro Reignited Trilogy - PlayStation 4

Set off on another adventure with the purple dragon Spyro in Spyro Reignited Trilogy for the PlayStation 4. This collection brings together three beloved platform games from the original PlayStation era, completely rebuilt with modern graphics, updated animations and improved controls. Explore colourful fantasy worlds, meet memorable characters and discover why Spyro has remained a familiar name in platform gaming for so many years.

The collection includes Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. In the first adventure, Spyro must rescue his fellow dragons after the evil Gnasty Gnorc transforms them into crystal. In the second game, he travels to Avalar, where he attempts to stop Ripto's plans. The third adventure centres on stolen dragon eggs that Spyro must recover while meeting new friends and overcoming different challenges along the way.

Gameplay combines three-dimensional platforming, exploration, collecting and light puzzles. Run, jump, glide across gaps and use Spyro's fire breath to defeat enemies. Collect gems, discover hidden areas and complete objectives to progress. Every world features its own themes, enemies and secrets, offering plenty of new locations to explore.

All three games have been rebuilt with detailed environments and lively characters while preserving the familiar atmosphere and original gameplay design. The trilogy therefore offers a nostalgic experience for players who remember the original releases, as well as an accessible introduction for newcomers.

Please note: the original physical PlayStation 4 release requires an additional download for substantial portions of the second and third games. An internet connection may therefore be necessary to experience all three adventures in full.
