Return to the war-torn planet of Sera in Gears of War 2 for Xbox 360. Developed by Epic Games and released in 2008, this third-person shooter continues the story of the original Gears of War. Once again, play as Marcus Fenix, a soldier of Delta Squad fighting alongside his team against the dangerous Locust. As the enemy destroys increasingly large parts of human civilisation, a massive offensive begins to stop the underground threat.
In Gears of War 2, battle through ruined cities, dark tunnels and hostile environments filled with dangerous opponents. Use various weapons, including the iconic Lancer with its built-in chainsaw, and take cover to avoid enemy fire. Cooperate with your squad to survive challenging encounters and defeat impressive bosses. The campaign can also be experienced cooperatively with a second player. The game also introduces the popular Horde mode, where players attempt to survive successive waves of enemies.
Gears of War 2 is known for its intense action, cinematic presentation and extensive cooperative gameplay options. Its combination of shooting action, teamwork and an immersive storyline makes this title a great addition to an Xbox 360 collection.
