Final Fantasy VIII - PlayStation 1

Enter the world of Final Fantasy VIII for the PlayStation 1 and follow the story of Squall Leonhart, a young SeeD mercenary training at Balamb Garden. Together with characters including Rinoa, Zell, Quistis and Selphie, he becomes involved in an increasingly large conflict where war, powerful sorceresses and his own past all play an important role.

Gameplay combines world exploration, strategic RPG combat, magic and extensive character development. The Junction system is a central part of the game, allowing Guardian Forces and collected magic to be assigned to characters to improve their statistics and abilities. Magic can be obtained directly from enemies and certain locations through the Draw system, while powerful Limit Breaks provide additional options during battle.

Alongside the main story, Final Fantasy VIII features a large world filled with towns, Gardens, dungeons, secrets and various side activities. The Triple Triad card game is also a substantial part of the adventure, allowing you to collect cards and challenge different characters. With its expansive story, distinctive gameplay systems and impressive presentation, Final Fantasy VIII is an important entry in the Final Fantasy series and an appealing title for RPG enthusiasts and PlayStation 1 collectors.
