Final Fantasy Anthology - PlayStation 1
Discover two classic RPG adventures in Final Fantasy Anthology for the PlayStation 1. This collection brings together Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy V, allowing you to explore two different fantasy worlds, each with its own story, characters and challenges. From major conflicts and mysterious crystals to heroes attempting to change the fate of their world, both games offer their own distinctive adventure.
Gameplay revolves around exploration, strategic battles, magic and developing your characters. Final Fantasy IV follows characters including the Dark Knight Cecil on a personal journey and a battle against an increasingly dangerous threat. Final Fantasy V offers extensive customisation through its Job System, allowing characters to learn and combine abilities from different professions.
Both games use the well-known Active Time Battle system, where timing plays an important role during combat. The PlayStation versions also introduce additional presentation elements, including pre-rendered video sequences. Final Fantasy Anthology brings together two important chapters from the history of the series, making it an interesting release for RPG enthusiasts, Final Fantasy fans and PlayStation 1 collectors.
