Leave Vault 76 and discover a post-apocalyptic version of West Virginia in Fallout 76 for the PlayStation 4. As one of the first residents to return to the outside world after the nuclear war, you are tasked with exploring Appalachia and helping to rebuild. Along the way, you discover abandoned locations, new settlements, different factions and dangerous creatures roaming the devastated landscape.
Gameplay combines open-world exploration, RPG elements, combat, crafting and online multiplayer. Develop your character through the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system, collect weapons and armour and use materials to create new items or improve existing equipment. The C.A.M.P. system also allows you to build your own base and place it in different locations throughout the world.
You can explore Appalachia independently or team up with other players during quests, events and battles against powerful enemies. Since its original release, Fallout 76 has been expanded with additional storylines, characters, locations and other content. The game is designed as an online experience and requires an internet connection to play.
