F1 06 - PlayStation 2
Get behind the wheel of a Formula One car in F1 06 for the PlayStation 2. Based on the official 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship, the game brings the drivers, teams and circuits from that season to the console. Compete against famous names including Fernando Alonso, Michael Schumacher and Kimi Räikkönen as you fight for valuable points and race victories.
Gameplay focuses on high speeds, precise driving and strategic racing. Every corner requires careful braking and the correct racing line, while tyres, pit stops and weather conditions can influence how a race develops. Success therefore requires more than outright speed, with smart decisions also playing an important role.
Career Mode lets you gradually build your own Formula One career and prove yourself to different teams. You can also compete in individual races and complete Grand Prix weekends across familiar circuits from the 2006 season. F1 06 delivers an extensive Formula One experience for fans of speed, competition and motorsport.
