Put on the doctor’s coat with Mario in Dr. Mario for the Nintendo Game Boy. In this classic puzzle game, your task is to clear a playing field filled with coloured viruses by dropping medicine capsules into the correct positions.
Gameplay revolves around matching colours, rotating capsules and eliminating viruses. Each capsule consists of two coloured halves that can be moved and rotated as they fall. Line up four or more matching sections horizontally or vertically to remove the corresponding viruses and capsules from the playing field.
As more viruses appear and the speed increases, planning ahead and keeping enough free space becomes increasingly important. Its simple concept makes Dr. Mario easy to pick up, while the increasing difficulty provides plenty of challenge for experienced puzzle fans. This FAH cartridge is an enjoyable addition for fans of classic Nintendo puzzle games and Game Boy collectors.
