Donkey Kong - FAH - Nintendo Game Boy
Return to the origins of Nintendo’s famous arcade game in Donkey Kong for the Nintendo Game Boy. The adventure begins with familiar elements from the original Donkey Kong, as Mario makes his way upwards to rescue Pauline from Donkey Kong. From there, the game expands into a much larger adventure featuring dozens of new stages and environments.
The gameplay combines platforming, puzzles and clever acrobatic moves. Mario can jump, climb, pick up objects and use different techniques to reach switches, open doors and overcome obstacles. Many stages require you to first find a key and then figure out how to safely carry it to the exit.
Donkey Kong features more than 100 stages and greatly expands the simple concept of the arcade classic with new puzzles, enemies and gameplay mechanics. The game was also specifically designed to take advantage of additional visual features when played through the Super Game Boy on the Super Nintendo. This FAH edition is an interesting addition for Mario and Donkey Kong fans, puzzle-platforming enthusiasts and Nintendo Game Boy collectors.
