Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze - Wii U

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze - Wii U

Set off on a colourful and challenging adventure in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Nintendo Wii U. Developed by Retro Studios and released in 2014, this platform game is the sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns. When the mysterious Snowmads, a group of Viking-like animals, invade Donkey Kong Island and transform it into a frozen landscape, Donkey Kong and his friends must take action. Travel across different islands and attempt to reclaim your home.

In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, run, jump, roll and swing through detailed levels filled with enemies, obstacles and hidden secrets. Donkey Kong receives help from Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong, each offering special abilities. Diddy's jetpack allows you to stay in the air longer, Dixie uses her ponytail to gain extra height, and Cranky can bounce across dangerous surfaces with his cane. Along the way, collect bananas, puzzle pieces and the familiar KONG letters. The levels take you through tropical jungles, underwater areas, snowy landscapes and other surprising environments. There are also challenging mine cart rides and impressive boss battles. Two players can team up and experience the adventure together.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze combines precise platforming with creative level design, colourful graphics and an atmospheric soundtrack by David Wise. Its varied worlds and challenging gameplay make it an excellent choice for fans of classic Nintendo platform games. A wonderful addition to any Nintendo Wii U collection.
