Donkey Kong Country Returns - Nintendo Wii

Embark on an adventurous journey through the jungle in Donkey Kong Country Returns for Nintendo Wii. Developed by Retro Studios and released in 2010, this platform game brings back the famous Donkey Kong Country series with colorful environments, challenging levels and classic platforming action. When the mysterious Tiki Tak Tribe hypnotizes the animals of Donkey Kong Island and steals the banana supply, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong decide to take action. Together, they must defeat their enemies and save their beloved island.

In Donkey Kong Country Returns, travel through different environments, including tropical jungles, beaches, caves, factories and volcanic landscapes. Jump across deep gaps, avoid dangerous obstacles and defeat enemies using Donkey Kong's familiar rolling and ground-pounding attacks. Diddy Kong assists with his jetpack, helping you cross larger distances and complete difficult jumps. Throughout the adventure, collect bananas, puzzle pieces and the familiar KONG letters scattered across the levels. Classic gameplay elements also return, including exciting minecart rides and stages where you can ride Rambi the rhinoceros. The game supports local cooperative play for two players, with the second player controlling Diddy Kong.

Donkey Kong Country Returns combines classic platforming action with creative level design, challenging bosses and a cheerful presentation. Hidden collectibles and different challenges provide plenty of reasons to revisit completed levels and discover additional secrets. An excellent addition to a Nintendo Wii collection for fans of Nintendo, Donkey Kong and classic platform games.
