Dead Island [Special Edition] - PlayStation 3
Fight to survive on a tropical holiday island completely overrun by zombies in Dead Island for the PlayStation 3. On the island of Banoi, a relaxing vacation turns into a nightmare when a mysterious outbreak transforms much of the population into violent undead creatures. You choose from several playable survivors and begin searching for a way to escape the island.
Gameplay combines first-person action, exploration, RPG elements and a strong focus on melee combat. Throughout the island, you can find knives, clubs and many other objects that can be used as weapons. Weapons can be modified and upgraded, while your character earns experience and unlocks new abilities.
Banoi features several distinct areas filled with missions, hidden items and groups of zombies that present different dangers. The game can be played alone, but also supports cooperative multiplayer where players work together to survive the outbreak. This Special Edition is a special release of Dead Island, making it an interesting variant for fans and collectors of the series.
