Dante's Inferno - PlayStation 3
Descend into the depths of Hell in Dante's Inferno for the PlayStation 3. Loosely inspired by the first part of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, the game follows crusader Dante after he discovers that the soul of his beloved Beatrice has been taken by Lucifer. To save her, he begins a dangerous journey through the nine circles of Hell.
Gameplay combines fast-paced hack-and-slash combat, powerful combos and supernatural abilities. Dante uses Death's scythe as his primary weapon and also carries a holy cross for ranged attacks. By punishing or absolving enemies, you earn different forms of experience that can be used to unlock new abilities and attacks.
Each circle of Hell features its own dark theme, environments and enemies inspired by sins such as greed, anger and treachery. Alongside combat, the adventure includes platforming sections, puzzles and large boss battles. With its dark interpretation of Dante's journey, grotesque environments and fast action, Dante's Inferno delivers a distinctive and intense action adventure on PlayStation 3.
