Travel back to prehistoric times in Congo's Caper for the Super Nintendo. Congo begins as a half-human ape who is transformed into a human by a magical ruby. When his girlfriend Congette is kidnapped by the evil demon-like Bongo, Congo sets out on a dangerous adventure to rescue her.
Run and jump through colorful stages filled with dinosaurs, enemies, obstacles and hidden areas. Congo can attack opponents with his club and collect rubies along the way. Taking damage can transform him back into his smaller ape form, while special rubies allow him to regain his stronger human form.
Congo's Caper combines classic platforming with a cheerful prehistoric setting and a distinctive transformation mechanic. Its varied environments, enemies and secrets give the adventure a recognizable 16-bit character. This USA edition is an interesting addition for fans of classic SNES platformers and Super Nintendo collectors.
