The campaign takes place during World War II and follows the Allied advance through France after the Normandy landings. From several perspectives, you experience the conflict through American, British, Canadian and Polish soldiers.
Gameplay combines first-person gunfights, period weaponry and large-scale military confrontations. Fight through villages, forests and other war-torn environments, take cover and work alongside Allied troops to break through enemy positions. Alongside infantry combat, the game also features sections where vehicles play an important role.
Call of Duty 3 places a strong focus on the chaotic, large-scale battles of World War II and follows the campaign that ultimately leads towards the liberation of Paris. Switching between different Allied forces provides several perspectives on the same military advance. This PAL edition for PlayStation 3 is an interesting addition for fans of historical shooters and collectors of the Call of Duty series.
