BioShock Infinite - PlayStation 3
Travel to the floating city of Columbia in BioShock Infinite for the PlayStation 3. You play as Booker DeWitt, a former Pinkerton agent sent to the mysterious city to rescue a young woman named Elizabeth. What begins as a rescue mission soon develops into a much larger conflict involving Columbia's history and Elizabeth's unusual abilities.
Gameplay combines first-person shooting, Vigors and fast movement across the Sky-Lines. Booker has access to a variety of firearms and supernatural abilities that can stun, launch or directly attack enemies. Using the Sky-Hook, you can travel along rails suspended above and between Columbia's buildings, adding speed and vertical movement to combat.
Elizabeth accompanies Booker through much of the adventure and can support him during battles with ammunition and other useful supplies. Her ability to open mysterious Tears also plays an important role in both the story and certain combat situations. With its distinctive floating world, extensive narrative and combination of weapons and unusual powers, BioShock Infinite delivers a unique entry in the BioShock series.
