Best of the Best: Championship Karate – Nintendo Game Boy (USA)
Step into the ring in Best of the Best: Championship Karate for the Nintendo Game Boy. This fighting game is not only about winning matches, but also about developing your fighter and improving their abilities before taking on increasingly powerful opponents.
During each fight, you can use a variety of punches, kicks and defensive movements that need to be performed at the right moment. Timing, distance and recognising your opponent’s movements all play an important role. Alongside the matches, training elements allow you to develop your fighter’s attributes and prepare for tougher battles.
Best of the Best: Championship Karate therefore takes a more technical approach than a straightforward arcade fighter. Its combination of training, different techniques and one-on-one combat creates a distinctive martial arts experience on the Game Boy. This USA edition is an interesting addition for fans of classic fighting games, martial arts titles and Nintendo Game Boy collectors.
