Enter the dark world of Arkham Asylum in Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PlayStation 3. After Batman delivers the Joker to the psychiatric hospital, it becomes clear that his capture is part of a much larger plan. The Joker takes control of the facility and releases several dangerous inmates, forcing Batman deeper into Arkham to stop him.
Gameplay combines FreeFlow combat, stealth, exploration and detective work. Batman can fight groups of enemies using fluid attacks and counters, while armed opponents can be eliminated from the shadows. Detective Mode allows him to examine his surroundings, follow clues and identify hidden threats, while gadgets such as the Batarang and Batclaw provide additional tactical options.

Arkham Asylum forms one large interconnected environment, with new areas and secrets gradually becoming accessible. Its combination of a dark atmosphere, combat, stealth and detective elements creates a distinctive Batman adventure on the PlayStation 3.
