Gameplay combines 3D platforming, exploration, hidden secrets and virtual reality. You control Astro as he jumps, defeats enemies and travels through imaginative environments. At the same time, you need to physically look around to discover hidden robots, secret routes and objects that can easily be missed from a single viewing angle.
Throughout the adventure, you travel across varied worlds filled with platforming challenges, surprises and large boss battles. The DUALSHOCK 4 controller also becomes part of the gameplay, with different gadgets appearing from the controller inside the virtual world.
