Experience two well-known Atari arcade games in Arcade Classic No. 2: Centipede & Millipede for the Nintendo Game Boy. This collection brings both Centipede and its sequel Millipede to Nintendo’s handheld system while retaining the fast, score-focused gameplay of the original arcade titles.
In Centipede, you fire at a long centipede as it moves down the screen through a field of mushrooms. Other enemies also appear, making the playing field increasingly dangerous. Millipede expands on the concept with more enemy types, faster action and additional challenges, making accurate shooting and quick reactions increasingly important.
Both games are easy to understand but become increasingly intense as the speed and number of enemies rise. The focus on improving your high score makes the collection suitable for quick sessions as well as players who appreciate classic arcade gameplay. This USA edition combines two recognisable Atari titles on the Nintendo Game Boy and is an interesting addition for retro and handheld collectors.
